Shanghai Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Located in the Nanjing Road business circle, Shanghai Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is the sixth museum of its kind in the world.  Different from other five one, the wax museum in Shanghai is featuring its adoption of the most advanced technological elements in the construction.

You can closely contact with your favourite celebrities here.  Some twenty world famous figures are shown up in the museum, such as England football player David Beckham, basketball player Michael Jordan, well-known scientist Albert Einstein, and late princess Diana, etc.  It also includes the first Chinese astronaut Yang Liwei, Chinese Nobel laureate Yang Zhengning, and famous Hong Kong entertainment stars like Jay Chou, Jacky Chan, Andy Lau, etc.

Apart from figures display, the museum also set up a room for visitors to get to know how these wax figures are made.  Visitors can even ask the museum staff member to make wax figures for themselves.

Museum staff member said that as Shanghai attracted millions of visitors every year, they believed that many would come and visit the museum.
